Blvd Eyes, 416 Allegheny River Boulevard, is a locally owned and operated vision care practice providing state-of-the-art optometric services to meet the eye health needs of the community. Utilizing a medical approach to eye care, Blvd Eyes is concerned with the overall health of the patient.

   As of August 2011, Dr. Bethany James is now certified as Diplomate, American Board of Optometry and is a Board Certified Optometrist. By achieving this accomplishment, she joins a small select group of Optometrists not only in Pittsburgh, but in the country with this title.

   Board Certification is a voluntary process that establishes standards which demonstrate that the doctor of optometry has exceeded the basic requirements. It provides the assurance that a doctor of optometry maintains the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience needed to deliver quality patient care in optometry.
